AEMC Digital Multimeters CA 5000 Series AEMC Digital Multimeters CA 5000 Series Boston, MA - AEMC® Instruments, the ONE SOURCE for your electrical test and measurement instruments has introduced a new line of professional digital multimeters to their full product mix. The tough, reliable, economical CA Series Digital Multimeters (DMMs) provide a choice of 2000, 4000 and 40,000 counts. There are five models available in this new series. The new DMMs are ideal for field operation. The multimeters provides a large backlit display, clear push-button functions, large rotary range selector and dedicated push-buttons. The compact, handheld size along with the rugged, shockproof rubber holster make this multimeter ideal for toolboxes and pockets. The DMMs are accurate for linear loads (light bulbs, heating elements, etc.) and non-linear loads (fluorescent lighting, chopped power supply, speed variators, etc.). The linear loads are perfectly suited to installations with an undistorted sinusoidal network. The non-linear loads give the RMS value whatever the signal, distorted with DC component or sinusoidal. The CA Series is rated to IEC1010, 600 V, Cat. III for protection against spikes and over-voltage. All models are CE marked. The DMMs have a 3 year warranty.
