Global Water Rain Gauge/Pulse Logger (RG780) Global Water Rain Gauge/Pulse Logger (RG780) The RG780 is designed for monitoring and recording amount of rainfall in remote locations. This easy-to-use, battery-operated datalogger interfaces to all tipping bucket rain gauges. The RG780 can also be used to record pulse outputs from flowmeters such as the IF200 Insertion Flow Meter. Rainfall data is stored on programmable time intervals and easily uploads to all standard spreadsheets with provided EZ-PC software. Software allows real-time monitoring, recording in inches or millimeters of rain or flow rate with fast data transfer to any PC computer. The RG780 can be mounted internal to the RG600 or RG200 rain gauge or external to the rain gauge up to 500' away. The RG780 is provided with "Exception Logging". Data is only recorded when a pulse occurs during the recording interval. Data is recorded once per day to assure system function. 6,000 readings are recorded that have data during the time interval.
