Global Water Wind Direction Sensor, WE570 Global Water Wind Direction Sensor, WE570 The Global Water Wind Direction Sensor is designed to accurately measure wind direction even in the harshest environments. The Wind Direction Sensor measures wind direction with a wind vane connected to a potentiometer which converts to high level output with almost infinite resolution. Global Water's Weather Sensors are high quality, rugged, industrial grade sensors for monitoring, alarming and reporting. Each sensor has a high level 4-20 mA output for easy interface to process control systems, telemetry, dataloggers or displays. Each sensor is loop-powered by 10-36 VDC and comes with standard 25' cable. (Cable lengths up to 100' are available.) Sensor electronics are fully encapsulated in marine grade epoxy for complete environmental protection and a long operating life.
