Scott Instruments Mini-SA Single Gas Monitor Features The Mini-SA personal monitor provides a user with dependable, compact, lightweight, easy to use gas detection. It is designed to meet the challenging requirements of the most abusive environments. Housed in a rugged ABS case, the Mini-SA incorporates the largest backlit digital display available in a single function instrument of similar sized packages. This is extremely valuable to an initial responder of toxic alarms who must wear protective clothing and equipment such as a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus. The Mini-SA is microprocessor based and displays real-time readings and calculates Toxic TWA and STEL exposures. It also incorporates a PEAK HOLD function allowing the responder to review the highest concentration encountered after exiting to a safe area. The Mini-SA utilizes three alarm modes: visual, audible, and vibrating. The Mini-SA incorporates sensors that can be changed at a remote location - a new sensor and calibration gas is all that is needed to reconfigure the instrument.
