 Features Designed to handle the majority of tracing applications, the AT-2000 series of Advanced Tracers combine 15 years of experience and three different technologies into one multi- purpose instrument. Economically priced, fully portable and easy to use, the AT-2000 series has the following capabilities: 5 models to choose from Trace live conductors buried up to 13 feet. Trace and identify load-side equipment from the circuit breaker while energized. Trace line-side wiring without power interruption on circuits from 9 to 600 volts AC or DC Trace open wires for over a mile Trace wire in conduit or, even the conduit itself Locate ground faults and shorts Identify individual wires in a bundle All units are fully fused protected and intrinsically safe. For use on runs over one mile or when using the A2201 on runs over 200 ft. The B2025 recharger works in conjuction with the B2024. Weight: 19 oz. The R2000 RECEIVER has two detectors in its tip which are tuned to pick up the electro- magnetic signals (‘short’ mode) or electrostatic signals (‘open’ mode) generated by the other components. The LED’s and sensitivity settings indicate the relative signal strength to allow easy detection of the signal source. The R2000 is included in each of the five systems: AT-2001 through AT-2005. The LOAD SIGNAL GENERATORS S2300 & S2600, when connected to an energized line, will draw a rapidly fluctuating current pulse from the source, causing the power line to emit an electromagnetic signal which is detected by the R2000 Receiver in the ‘short’ mode. These devices allow tracing of line-side conductors without power interruption or interference. The S2300 will accept 9-300V AC or DC and comes with the AT-2001. The S2600 accepts 9-600V AC or DC and comes with the AT-2002, 2004, and AT-2005. If the conductor is broken (open), no current will flow, so the signal is present as a voltage pulse, which is detected along the conductor’s length by the R2000’s electrostatic detector (‘open mode’). The signal will stop at the open. The T2200 comes with the AT-2003, AT-2004, and AT-2005 T2200 Transmitter Operating Frequency: 32.768 KHz Duty Cycle: Transmits 2 pulses with a duration of 0.0635 sec. each every 0.5 seconds. The A2201 comes with the AT-2004 and AT-2005.
