 Description: The LF430 is a flange type detector that comes with a variety of connections built-in various flange connections such as ANSI150, AWWA(24inch or more), BS 16(or 10), DIN PN 16(or 10), KS flange, JIS10k, JWWA and others on request. The LF430 can select the combined converter (LF400) and the separated converter (LF420). The lineup of LF430 are 15mm(1/2inch), 25mm(1inch), 40mm(1-1/2inch), 50mm(2inch), 80mm(3inch), 100mm(4inch), 150mm(6inch), 200mm(8inch), 250mm(10inch), 300mm(12inch), 350mm(14inch), and 400mm(16inch). The electromagnetic flowmeter uses Faraday’s Law of electromagnetic induction to measure the process flow. The device consists of two units: a detector, through which the fluid to be measured flows and in which low-level signals proportional to flow rates are obtained; and a converter, which supplies excitation current to the detector, and amplifies the signals from the detector and then processes and converts the signals into the 4-20 mA dc current signal. Model LF430 detector can be mounted together with a converter (LF400) as one combined unit or it can be mounted separately from the converter (LF420). The LF43O/LF400 is a combined type flowmeter and the LF43O/LF420 is a separate type flow-meter. The LF430 detector can also be used with a separate type converter Model LF230. Coil arrangement in the LF430 is such that uneven flow can be correctly measured. Combining with the LF400 (combined type) or LF420 (separate type) multi-functional converter which has an improved noise-suppression circuit with superior signal processing capabilities, the flowmeter is highly resistant to noise and provides a stable output even for fluids containing slurries. The AFIOO hand-held terminal or Model 275 HART* communicator can be used to communicate with the flowmeter from remote places. * HART (Highway Addressable Remote Transducer) is a communications protocol for industrial sensors recom-mended by the HCF (HARTCommunication Foundation).
